BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Imperial Motors Sdn Bhd, the joint venture distribution company established by Inchcape in Brunei, has been appointed to represent Subaru as the sole authorised distributor in the sultanate.

Through Imperial Motors, Inchcape will distribute Subaru vehicles, applying its proven distribution capabilities, strong operational standards, and customer-centric approach to support both brands in the market.

Imperial Motors is an affiliate company of NBT (Brunei) Sdn Bhd.

Commenting on the announcement, Phil Jenkins, APAC Chief Executive Officer at Inchcape, said: “Inchcape’s approach is to build strong local platforms that support multiple brands sustainably over the long term. Imperial Motors gives us the right foundation to grow Subaru in Brunei, while continuing to develop a diversified and resilient portfolio.”
