The Trinidad & Tobago National Men’s Tennis Team defeated the US Virgin Islands on Saturday to secure promotion to Davis Cup Americas Group three, capping off a successful campaign.

Led by captain Dunstan De Noon, the squad of Kamran McIntosh-Ross, Dillon Beckles, Kale Dalla Costa, and Akiel Duke delivered a landmark achievement for local tennis.

Ross defeated Yared Alfred 2-1, while Beckles captured a comfortable 2-nil win over Graeme Angus

The result marks the first time in history that both Trinidad & Tobago’s Billie Jean King Cup and Davis Cup teams have earned promotion in the same year.
