TOMISLAVGRAD, 11 July – The title of Most Beautiful Croatian Woman in Traditional Costume Abroad has been won by Vesna Barišić from Argentina at the 13th edition of the annual event celebrating Croatian traditional heritage and the Croatian diaspora.
Barišić, who is also a scholarship recipient of Croatia’s Ministry of Demography and Immigration, impressed the judges with her presentation of Croatian traditional dress and was crowned this year’s winner.
The title of first runner-up went to Martina Dulić from Serbia, who appeared in a traditional Bunjevci costume.
Second runner-up was Mihaela Šokić from Vidovica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Eva Matić from Čapljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, received the Miss Photogenic title after earning the support of a large number of public votes.

The annual event celebrates the richness of Croatian traditional clothing and cultural heritage preserved by Croatian communities around the world. Participants showcased traditional costumes while sharing stories reflecting the customs and identity of their local Croatian communities.
The event was organised by the Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Croatian Traditional Culture “Stećak” in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Croatian Heritage Foundation and the Tomislavgrad Cultural and Information Centre.
