Misrata Free Zone Customs Revenues Rise 49% in H1 2026

The Customs Authority in Misrata Free Zone (MFZ) announced yesterday that MFZ’s Port achieved an increase in revenues of 49.35% (LD 79.5 million) for the first half of 2026 -compared to the same period last year.

​The Customs Authority reported that revenues rose from LD 161. Million in the first half of 2025, to reach LYD 240.6 million in the first half of this year.

​This positive achievement, the Customs Authority said, is practical evidence of the efficacy of the adopted policies, and a direct outcome of implementing sound governance in regulating document cycles and developing financial systems.

This has ensured maximizing collection efficiency and elevating the overall level of customs performance at the Customs Centre, it concluded.
