Wesley United Methodist Church, 544 Government St., Baton Rouge, will host Social Justice Sunday at 10 a.m. July 12. 

During the service, the church will recognize three community members for their contributions.

Father’s Day luncheon at Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church

The Women’s Ministry of Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church, 5100 Osborne Ave., will honor fathers and the men of the church and community with a special Father’s Day luncheon on Saturday, following the 11 a.m. worship service.

The Rev. T. Ron Weegar, pastor, will deliver a tribute to fathers during the service. The luncheon, originally scheduled for Father’s Day weekend, was rescheduled due to the Southwest Region Conference’s annual camp meeting.
