Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh is currently on the fourth day of his visit to South Korea has met with Mr. Ryan Kang (CEO and President Director) and Millie Richardson (Business Strategy and Planning Manager) of Boo Young Group, a company renowned for manufacturing footwear, shoelaces, metal hardware, and related accessories.

Lokesh urged Boo Young Group to establish a footwear and components manufacturing unit in the State and assured them that if the group establishes operations in the state, necessary infrastructure and logistics connectivity in key industrial zones would be readily available, alongside approvals granted through the single-window system.

He highlighted the state’s investor-friendly policies and the emphasis on the “speed of doing business.” Expressing interest in setting up the unit in AP, CEO Ryan Kang mentioned that they are looking for ready-built sheds. He noted that their global network would link the Indian manufacturing sector with the global distribution system.
