RITTMAN, Ohio — Residents in Rittman are trying their best to support each other after a shooting last weekend resulted in the deaths of four people, including a police officer.
“Right now, the city’s focus is on caring for one another,” Rittman Mayor Rudy Arnold said during a news conference Tuesday, according to cleveland.com/The Plain Dealer news partner WKYC Channel 3. “Grief like this reaches our children, our neighbors, and our first responders. Counselors and clergy have been made available through our schools and churches, and I encourage anyone who is struggling, please use them. There is no shame in needing help to carry through this.”
