Nexen Family Health vacancy: Receptionist

Nexen Family Health is seeking a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join our team in a modern, patient-centred general practice, located in Perdmontemps, St David. We are excited to welcome our first receptionist as we prepare to open in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for every patient.
  • Greet and register patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Coordinate patient flow in a modern family practice
  • Answer phone calls and respond to email/WhatsApp enquiries
  • Maintain accurate patient records and perform basic administrative tasks
  • Handle payments and issue receipts
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Proficient computer Skills (Microsoft Word and Excel, WhatsApp, emails)
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • Must be reliable and consistently punctual
  • Previous customer service or healthcare experience is an asset but not required. Training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Work Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Saturday: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
  • Sunday: Off
