The Papua New Guinea Kickboxing Federation (PNGKBF), in collaboration with Headhunter KO, is set to host the highly anticipated National Gaming Control Board (NGCB) Kumite: Last Man Standing Series.
The upcoming blockbuster event, Heat #03 Quarter Final, will feature elite and aspiring fighters facing off in a grueling test of skill, discipline, and endurance. Supported heavily by a K300,000 grant from the NGCB’s Give Back Program, the event aims to leverage sports as a vehicle for youth empowerment, healthy lifestyles, and nationwide talent identification.
The action is scheduled for Sunday, 28th June 2026, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Taurama Aquatic Centre in Port Moresby. Fans can witness the high-stakes tournament live, with entry tickets priced at K15 for adults and K10 for children below 16 years of age.
All bouts will be contested under strict 3×3 K-1 rules across five highly competitive weight classes.
The tournament is structured across five major weight classes utilizing the high-intensity “Last Man Standing” (LMS) format.
In the 60KG division, eight top contenders will clash to secure their spot in the next bout.
The 65KG division card featured eight explosive featherweight athletes ready to step into the ring, while the 70KG division features a stacked lineup of powerhouse combatants.
Furthermore, the 75KG division highlighted brings together seasoned regional champions and hungry elite prospects, and the 80KG division lineup promises devastating exchanges as the heaviest hitters of Heat #03 take center stage.
Fighters from other centers are also expected to take part in the one day last man standing series.
