Nike’s Air Max line is continuing its legacy with a futuristic new addition.
The latest rendition, the AIRMAX 1000.2 Black and Pink Spell, drops Thursday, June 25, at 10 a.m. ET for $180 a pair.

This 3D printed style is an upgrade from the first AIRMAX 1000, a previous evolution of the 1987 classic. With the latest design changes, Nike can print the shoe faster than its predecessor. The only changes for the wearer include shape updates and a refined lug design.
Otherwise, shoppers will still find a soft, responsive design that offers plush support in a laceless, utilitarian build. Nike has made a one-of-a-kind look with wavy patterns and textured tooling that are callbacks to the Air Max 1 mudguard.
If you want to add a pair of the neutral AIRMAX 1000.2 shoes to your street style wardrobe, plan to be online early on launch day. Nike’s limited-edition styles often sell out in minutes, especially Air Max designs.
