SANTA FE NATIONAL FOREST, N.M. — A new wildfire is prompting evacuation orders for the Jemez Falls Campground in the Santa Fe National Forest as firefighters work to fight the 4-acre fire.
Fire managers stated the fire was reported Wednesday morning in the McCauley Springs area. Crews are working to fully suppress the fire.
Smoke is visible from Albuquerque, Jemez Springs and surrounding communities.
