Bowling Green — Ricky O. Hudson, known by many as Shockley, passed away June 21, 2026 at his home. Ricky was born April 2, 1953 to the late Mitchell and Marie Hudson.

Ricky was proud to grow up in the Delafield community of Bowling Green. He took his love of Harley Davidsons and classic cars and started American Motorcycle Company. He was fortunate to walk down his driveway and spend his days doing what he loved.
More importantly, Ricky loved his family. He was a loving son, husband, father, Pa, brother, uncle, and friend. Family meant everything to him and that was evident in all he did.

In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Kristie Hudson; his son-in-law, Jimmy Wallace; and his nephew, Wesley Sharer.

Ricky is survived by his children, Sarah (Kerry) Stinson, Earl (Karen) Henderson, and David (Amanda) Farmer; his step-children, Stefanie (Greg) Hayes and Carrie Stone; his grandchildren, Trey (McKenna) Wallace, Lillie Wallace, Jack and Wyatt Henderson, Kaylee Angel, Adalyn Farmer, Robert Williams, Christopher and Dawson Hayes and Kaitlyn Stone; his great-grandchild, Evie Wallace; his siblings, Peggy (Jerry) Sharer, Judy (Charles) Webb, Clint (Peggy) Hudson, and Janice (Buster) Stewart; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends that felt like family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. with a funeral service at 11 a.m. all at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. The family encourages casual dress.
