Alexandria Stops Jamestown At Marshall Wood Bat Classic | News Dakota

MILROY, MN – Seven runs in the first two innings helped Alexandria to a 9-3 win over the Jamestown Eagles Sunday in the final day of the Marshall Wood Bat Classic at The Irish Yard.
Gavin Dusek had a two-run double in a four-run first inning. Zach Iverson homered in a three-run second inning.
Kale Verke had an RBI single for Jamestown (7-7). Haden Smith drove in a run with a ground ball and Ethan Oettle hit a sacrifice fly.
Eagles’ starter Hudson Rode lasted only through the first inning, allowing four unearned runs. Braxton Perkins gave up five runs in four and a third innings.
Jamestown will return to AA Legion play with a doubleheader at Mandan on Monday.
