A brawl involving dozens of tourists in Ayia Napa was broadcast live to millions of viewers in the early hours of Thursday by British social media personality HSTikkyTokky, real name Harrison Sullivan, who filmed the incident while on holiday in Cyprus, but was not involved in the fighting.
The video was streamed live on Sullivan’s accounts across TikTok, Kick and YouTube, where he has millions of followers. According to philenews information, police were alerted by a citizen who filed a complaint, after which authorities launched an ex officio investigation on the basis of the footage.
In the course of the investigation, two of those involved in the brawl were located — British nationals aged 19 and 21, who were questioned. A brawling case is being investigated against them. Investigations are continuing with the aim of identifying others who may have taken part.
Sullivan, 24, is one of Britain’s most controversial social media figures. He featured in Louis Theroux’s Netflix documentary “Inside the Manosphere,” in which he was seen promoting racist, misogynistic and homophobic views.
He received a suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to dangerous driving following a period during which he fled the UK. He has built a large following across platforms promoting a lavish lifestyle alongside content that has drawn widespread criticism.
