US Vice President JD Vance said on Monday that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran is a “very general document,” and that the details of the agreement will be hammered out during subsequent negotiations.اضافة اعلان

“The memorandum of understanding… is about a page and a half, so it is a very general document,” Vance said during an appearance on CNN.

He continued: “On a number of issues, we are going to have to iron those things out during the technical negotiation phase.”

He stated that nuclear inspectors will “absolutely” be allowed to return to Iran as part of an agreement with the United States to end the war between the two countries.

NBC News quoted Vance as saying: “In fact, one of the core parts of the deal is that the [International Atomic Energy Agency] and the United States will help Iran destroy its stockpile of highly enriched uranium, and that is something that is stated very clearly” in the memorandum of understanding already agreed upon by the United States and Iran.

He added that President Donald Trump might decide to disclose the terms of the agreement with Iran before Friday.

He further noted that the agreement is expected to be signed in person on Friday, after US and Iranian leaders had previously signed it electronically.
