King Charles was spotted giving instructions to his grandchildren during trooping the colour birthday parade.
The Royal family, who joined his majesty at the Buckingham Palace to mark his official birthday, were instructed to wave at the balcony as subjects gathered to witness the occasion.
Lip reader Jeremy Freeman notes how His Majesty told Princess Charlotte and Princess Louis to wave at the crowds amid the fly past.
Princess Charlotte was seen turning around and asking: “Time to wave?”
Charles answered: “Very good. Now we give a wave.” His Majesty emphasised, he added: “Wave to everyone. Cheerio. That’s right, thank you very much.”
Louis was later spotted asking dad Prince William: “Is there more?” William then responded: “No, that’s it. Go on wave, that’s it.”
This comes as Prince William spoke about how his kids help around the house with BBC
“We go through all the basics of recycling, making sure we minimise water use, and turning off lights when we leave the house and things like that.”
He added: “I think every family has these conversations,” the prince said. “You just try to do what you can.”
