Acting Police Commissioner Leiataua Samuelu Afamasaga confirmed that suspects were arrested following a police drug raid at Tafaigata last night, Friday 12 June 2026.
When contacted for details the Acting Commissioner told Samoa Global News he can confirm arrests were made but did not give details.

Sources say up to six suspects were arrested following the Tafaigata raid and up to eight Police Tactical Unit vehicles were spotted in the area on Friday evening.
Armed Police officers raided a home along the road nearby the Robert Louis Stevenson School.
It is bieved that naroctics were confiscated, however, Police are holding off on whether suspects have been charged.
The Acting Police Commissioner says information will be available when investigations are complete.
