Nvidia bets on South Korea as AI push expands beyond semiconductors

South Korean companies announced a series of partnerships with Nvidia during CEO Jensen Huang’s four-day visit to Seoul, outlining plans to expand cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, robotics, cloud computing and advanced semiconductors. Nvidia unveiled agreements with SK Hynix, SK Telecom, Naver, LG Group and Doosan Group, including plans for new AI data centers, AI cloud services, robotics platforms and next-generation memory technologies.
