WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Local 5 and CW Iowa 23 are aware of an issue affecting reception of KCWI/CW23, Quest, Great, Dabl and WOI/ABC 5.5. Our engineering team is actively working to resolve the problem; however, we do not currently have an estimated timeline for resolution.

We have made adjustments with DirecTV and Dish so their customers have signal again for our channels.

Viewers using an antenna may experience reception issues with these channels, including WOI/ABC 5.5. If you can receive WOI/ABC on channel 5.1, you should also be able to receive KCWI (The CW) on channel 23.1.

Please do not rescan your TV at this time, as it will not resolve the issue and may make it more difficult to restore your channels once the issue has been corrected.
