In David Panama, More than 55,000 Packets of World Cup Stickers and Sports Merchandise were Seized

Customs officials seize World Cup albums, boxes of stickers, and La Roja jerseys due to suspected counterfeiting. The merchandise, which originated in Colombia and was destined for businesses in Chiriquí, also included 100 FIFA World Cup 2026 sticker albums. Authorities are investigating possible trademark fraud and alleged customs irregularities.

More than 55,000 envelopes of figurines alluding to the FIFA 2026 World Cup were seized by inspectors from the Directorate of Prevention and Customs Control during inspection operations carried out in parcel companies in the city of David, Chiriquí province.  According to authorities, the merchandise came from Colombia and was destined for various businesses in the Chiriquí province.
