Chief Minister and TDP National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu held a video conference with TDP General Secretaries, Zonal In-charges, and key leaders to review the success of the Mahanadu, which was conducted in a hybrid format. The meeting, from the party’s central office, involved a comprehensive assessment of the event’s organisation, the party’s future plans, and related matters. Naidu praised the hybrid mode, calling it a “resounding success,” and commended the leaders, activists, and organisers for their vital roles.
During the discussion, CM Chandrababu stated, “Certain remarks made by senior Telangana TDP leader Bakkini Narsimhulu were inappropriate. One must exercise caution when speaking about regions that possess such rich history and heritage. Wherever Telugu people may reside, the Telugu community remains a single, unified entity; one should never speak in a manner that hurts the sentiments of any individual or group. The TDP was born on the very soil of Telangana, and the party continues to possess a strong cadre base within the state. It was only after the inception of the TDP that the path was paved for social justice and development in Telangana. I am immensely pleased that the Mahanadu was celebrated with such enthusiasm in Telangana. We must now vigorously take the issue of 33% reservation for women—which was approved during the Mahanadu—to the masses.”
