Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is currently on a visit to Yadagirigutta, where he participated in a series of development activities. Arriving this morning, he first offered prayers to Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.

Following this, Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stones for projects worth Rs 100 crore. Among these was a new Vedic school, to be built at a cost of Rs 43.80 crore, for which he performed the Bhoomi Puja alongside Vijayendra Saraswati, the Pontiff of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation for a Nitya Kalyana Mandapam (daily marriage hall) atop the hill, estimated to cost Rs 9.87 crore, and a canopy over the staircase from the Vaikunta Dwaram to the hilltop, valued at Rs 1.41 crore. Additional projects included steps connecting the Mada Streets to the Rathasala (chariot hall) at Rs 1.35 crore, along with dormitory halls and a Deekshaparula Sadan (vow-observing devotees’ accommodation) costing Rs 43.12 crore.

Revanth Reddy’s visit underscores the government’s focus on improving infrastructure and religious facilities at Yadagirigutta, a prominent pilgrimage site.
