Due to misinterpretations in some media regarding the Gradiška Border Crossing, the ITA BiH has issued a statement, once again informing the public about the following.
The Indirect Taxation Administration did not open a new temporary border crossing, but by decision temporarily moved the existing Gradiška Border Crossing to a new location. This had to be done due to damage to the bridge on the Sava River, which caused the suspension of international passenger and goods traffic.
At the temporary location, the Gradiška Border Crossing will function from 19.05. 2026 to 19.08. 2026 in the same way as it functioned at its previous location in accordance with the Agreement on Border Crossings between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, as a border crossing where international passenger and goods traffic is permitted, which requires full inspection supervision.
All customs procedures will be carried out using the existing Gradiška Border Crossing Code, the use of the official seal of the Gradiška Border Crossing, the use of IT applications and the work of customs officers who normally work at the Gradiška Border Crossing, the ITA announced.
