After Calleigh Hewitt hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the top of the ninth, the Grizzlies rallied to advance to the Regional Final with a three-run inning. The Cardinals trailed 3-0 and did not have a hit through five innings, but then Maara Kutz homered and Kenedy Trostad drove home Hewitt with a double to make it 3-2. PCN scored twice in the sixth before Kutz doubled home a run and Hewitt plated two to tie the game at 5. But after Hewitt’s homer, PCN rallied in a driving rain as Kutz committed an error and Jocelyn Anderson delivered the walk-off single.
