Two teenage boys arrested after serious assault in Blanchardstown

Two teenage boys have been arrested today as part of the investigation into a serious assault in Dublin on Sunday afternoon, where a man in his 30s was found unconscious on the Mill Road in Blanchardstown.

The man remains in a critical condition at Connolly Hospital.

Two boys in  their mid-teens have been arrested and are being held at a garda station in west Dublin.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for information.

They want to hear from anyone who travelled on Mill Lane, either on foot or by car, between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday to come forward.

They particularly want to speak to a woman who was a passenger in a silver Suzuki car that was parked in the grounds of Connolly Hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station
