Hattie Bell James, 80, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 24, 1946 in Conway, a daughter of the late Rev. Donnie and Alma Gasque Baker. 

She was also predeceased by her husband, Junior Tindall, siblings, Donnie Lou Tindall, Shirley Tindall and Alma Mishoe.

Hattie was a longtime member of Aynor Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she attended faithfully up until her illness.

Mrs. James is survived by her children, Steve Tindall and Allison Hornsby (William); sister, Bobbi Sue Mahoney; grandchildren, James West and Taylor Hamm; lots of nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Ray Cribb officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
