Little Prairie Baptist Church, 40497 La. 42, Prairieville, will host a gospel concert at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. 

Featured guests will be The Chuck Wagon Gang.

The public is invited to the evening of faith, music and fellowship.

Freeman Baptist Church will honor pastor at May 31 service

Freeman Baptist Church, 4628 La. 955, Ethel, will hold its pastor’s appreciation service at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 31.

The church will celebrate and honor the Rev. Robert L. Scott Jr. for his service and commitment. 

The guest speaker will be the Rev. Orin D. Grant Sr., pastor of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Gretna.

All are invited.

Wesley Founders’ Day approaching

The historic Wesley United Methodist Church, 544 Government St., Baton Rouge, will celebrate 160 years of serving the community at a Founders’ Day service at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 24.

The Rev. Robert Johnson, of the Louisiana Conference of the United Methodist Church, will speak.

The community is invited.
