Trump’s $1O billion lawsuit against the IRS he oversees is the definition of corruption: Letter to the Editor

The Trump administration is riven with corruption and not even trying to hide it. CNN reports the Justice Department is considering settling President Donald Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service — filed in his personal capacity — perhaps, by dropping IRS audits against him and his businesses in exchange. “It remains unclear if a monetary settlement is being considered … raising unprecedented ethical questions,” CNN notes.

The conflicts are obvious. As president, Trump gets to tell the IRS to settle the case and give him the money. He is using our tax dollars as his own personal bank account — and none of the Republicans in Congress even care, just like they didn’t care when they abdicated their responsibility and let him impose one of the largest tax increases in history with his tariffs.
