The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Red Alert’ for North Telangana, warning of escalating heatwave conditions over the next three days. The alert covers the districts of Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, and Mancherial, with temperatures expected to soar beyond 45°C.

The department warned that the severity of the heatwave could cause serious health issues during this period. It urged residents to avoid venturing outside unless absolutely necessary and to take appropriate safety precautions if they must go out.

Officials highlighted the increased risk of health complications, especially for children, the elderly, and those with chronic illnesses. The Meteorological Department advised the public to exercise extra caution and follow safety guidelines to prevent heat-related illnesses during the intense heatwave.
