The EAPCET 2026 Engineering online examinations are scheduled to start tomorrow, with over 210,000 candidates expected to sit the tests across the state. The exams will run from 9th to 11th May over three days, in two daily shifts: morning (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and afternoon (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM). Candidates must arrive by 7:30 AM for the morning session and by 1:30 PM for the afternoon, with strict no-late entry rules. No student will be permitted to leave before the exam ends. Around 35,000 candidates are expected per shift, with testing taking place at 125 centres. Convener Professor K. Vijayakumar Reddy confirmed all preparations have been completed.
This year, a new system will display provisional scores immediately after each shift, aiming to boost transparency and reduce anxiety. Final results will be confirmed after the release of the final answer key and normalization process. Dr. Reddy advised candidates to visit their exam centres beforehand to familiarise themselves with the locations, especially since several colleges in Hyderabad share similar names. Candidates are also encouraged to use the QR code printed on their hall tickets for navigation.
