Saint Lucia’s Elite Blazers made a strong statement on the regional basketball stage by earning third place at the 2026 Caribbean Clash 3×3 Lite Quest held last weekend in Suriname. The team included Troy Louison, Andre Louison, Sharmoir JnBaptiste and Desir Joseph, each contributing significantly to the club’s impressive run against some of the Caribbean’s top talent.
Andre Louison led the Elite Blazers with 37 points, scoring 11 singles, 11 shots beyond the arc, and four free throws. Troy Louison also performed well, finishing with 29 points from 15 singles, five two-pointers, and four free throws, providing steady offence throughout the competition.
Desir Joseph scored 18 points, while Sharmoir JnBaptiste added 11. The team put in a balanced, determined effort en route to a podium finish.
The result highlights the Elite Blazers’ continued development and commitment to becoming a high-performance basketball organisation. Their performance in Suriname reflects the club’s ambition to raise its standards while proudly representing Saint Lucia on the regional basketball scene.
