POLICE in Ruwa situated on the outskirts of Harare have arrested two men for allegedly fatally assaulting an imbiber at a local bar and injuring two others following a dispute over an undisclosed matter.

Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) national spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest of the pair for murder of a 30-year-old reveller.

“Police in Ruwa arrested Trymore Ndebele (24) and Peace Dube (25), in connection with cases of murder and attempted murder which occurred on April 29, 2026, at a bottle store at Chenai Shops, Solomio Park,” said Nyathi.

“The suspects allegedly attacked bar patrons with bricks and knives following a dispute at the bottle store, resulting in the death of Tendai Mubiya (30) and serious injuries to two other victims.”
