A young man from Kurnool, living in the United States, took his own life over the reasons yet to be known. A 26-year-old Iraganaboyina Chandu, who pursued his Master’s degree at DePaul University in Chicago, was actively seeking employment.
However, deeply distressed over various issues, Chandu’s mental health deteriorated. Unable to cope with the pressure, he ended his life on 28 April by shooting himself inside his apartment.
Chandu’s parents were left inconsolable upon hearing the news. Chiranjeevi Galla, Co-chair of TANA Team Square, is working to arrange the repatriation of Chandu’s remains to Kurnool.
