The United Nations has announced that ship transit through the Strait of Hormuz has dropped by 95.3% since the outbreak of the war involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.اضافة اعلان

During a press conference, Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, stated that data from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) indicates a 95.3% decline in maritime traffic through the Strait since the conflict began on February 28.

Dujarric added that the restrictions imposed on the Strait have led to a 6% increase in the prices of basic food commodities. Furthermore, crude oil prices for Europe have surged by 53%.
