“Strengthening southeast winds and dry conditions will lead to near critical fire weather conditions Monday. Winds of 10 to 20 mph with frequent gusts up to 25 to 30 mph will be seen over much of northern MI Monday afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values of 25 to 35% are expected over interior locations of northeast lower. These conditions could lead to rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning,” explains the weather service.
