TWO men have been arrested by police to assist investigations into a shooting incident in Bangsar on Tuesday.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the two suspects, aged 27 and 33, were arrested in the Klang area, Selangor, at about 11.45 pm yesterday.
According to him, the arrests were made following developments in the investigation into the case, which was previously reported to have occurred around Bangsar.
“In the arrest, the police also seized a pistol with one live bullet and an imitation pistol.
“A check found that the first suspect has five previous criminal records, while the second suspect has 17 criminal records,” he said in a statement.
He said both suspects are now being remanded for seven days from April 23 to April 29 to assist in further investigations. – April 23, 2026
