A motorist who was working on his car on the side of the 215 Beltway Tuesday night was hit by a car driven by a suspected impaired driver, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at 9:09 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the 215 Beltway north of Ann Road, said Trooper Shawn Haggstrom in a text message.
He said the stranded motorist was working on his Infinity sedan. A driver of a Kia sedan hit the person.
The stranded motorist was taken to a local hospital with injuries.
The driver of the Kia was arrested at the scene on suspicion of impairment, Haggstrom said.
