Glosick, Lee pitch Gators to win

Greenwood seniors Whitt Glosick and Jackson Lee combined to pitch a three-hit shutout to lead the Gators to a 3-0 baseball win against Logan County on Monday.
Glosick got the start and pitched five innings, allowing no runs off three hits and two walks while striking out six batters to earn the win. Lee finished up with two perfect innings, striking out five, to secure the save.
Ethan York hit a solo home run, Bryce Mangold and John Kincaid each drove in a run, Griffin Veazey was 2-for-3 with two doubles and Boston Howard was 2-for-3 in the win.
Greenwood (12-5) was set to host Allen County-Scottsville on Tuesday.
Lyndon Wilson went 2-for-3 with a double to lead Logan County (8-8), which was slated to visit Christian County on Tuesday.
Bowling Green 6, Glasgow 2
John Mosley homered and drove in two runs to boost homestanding Bowling Green to a 6-2 win against Glasgow on Monday.
Landon Gilbert was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, Henry Phillips was 2-for-2, Colt Isenberg tallied a double and two RBIs, Hudson Nottmeier drove in a run and scored twice and Jack Cowan tallied a double for the Purples.
Elliott Simpson started and pitched three innings to earn the win, allowing two runs (one earned) while striking out five over three innings. Ian Wells pitched three scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts and Isenberg also tossed a scoreless inning.
Bowling Green (14-1) hosts Farragut (Tenn.) in the BGHS Round Round on Friday.
Hudson Gumm went 2-for-4 with a double to lead the Scotties. Thomas Glass scored twice and stole three bases, and Landon Martin and Huston Haynes each drove in a run.
Glasgow (9-9) was scheduled to host Caverna on Tuesday.
Barren County 15, Bluegrass Blazers 0
Host Barren County put away the Bluegrass Blazers, a Warren County-based homeschool program, for a 15-0 win in four innings on Monday.
Jaxon Vincent was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and three stolen bases for the Trojans in the win. Wyatt Walker homered and tallied three RBIs, Cameron Crawford had a double and two RBIs, Jordan Harris added two RBIs, Malachi Pendleton notched an RBI, Colten Wilson chipped in with a double, two stolen bases and two runs scored, and Skylar Potter had a double.
Barren County was 11-for-11 on stolen-base attempts.
Dylan Poynter started and worked two innings for the win, allowing no hits or walks while striking out four. Joseph Zelek pitched the final two innings to preserve the shutout. He struck out two.
Barren County (9-7) was scheduled to visit Taylor County on Tuesday.
Butler County 11, FCA 0
Butler County sophomores Mason West and Thomas Embry combined on a one-hit shutout as the Bears topped Foundation Christian Academy 11-0 in five innings on Monday.
West started and pitched the first four innings to earn the win, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out nine. Embry pitched a scoreless inning, striking out two.
At the plate, Embry was 2-for-3 with a triple, a double and scored two runs. Eli Oaks was 2-for-3 with an RBI and scored twice, Brody Dockery was 2-for-3 with an RBI, Will Amos drove in a run and Brycen Mode stole three bases and scored twice.
Butler County (6-8) was scheduled to host Hancock County on Tuesday.
FCA (0-5) was set to visit Warren Central on Tuesday.
Franklin-Simpson 5, ACS 0
Jordan Brandon fired a complete-game shutout to spark host Franklin-Simpson to a 5-0 win against Allen County-Scottsville on Monday.
Brandon pitched all seven innings for the win, allowing no runs off just two hits and a walk while fanning five.
Hendrik Blanckenberg was 2-for-3, Adam Lamirande drove in two runs, Kolton Turner tallied an RBI and Jaxon Gass added a double for the Wildcats in the win.
Franklin-Simpson (8-8) is at East Robertson (Tennessee) on Thursday.
ACS (6-8) was set to visit Greenwood on Tuesday.
Softball
Edmonson County 12, Butler County 11
Emma Price homered and earned the win pitching in relief as host Edmonson County outlasted District 12 rival Butler County 12-11 on Monday.
Price was 2-for-3 at the plate with home run, two RBIs and three runs scored in the win. Price pitched four innings of relief, allowing just an unearned run off two hits and two walks while striking out five to earn the victory.
Hayley Sanders was 2-for-4 with an RBI, Kylee Williams went 2-for-4 with a double, Jolee Vincent drove in three runs and scored twice, Brooklyn Carroll tallied a double and two RBIs, Emma Davis drove in a run and scored twice, and Abigal Hogg added a double for the Lady Cats in the win.
Edmonson County (6-7 overall, 2-1 District 12) was scheduled to host Glasgow on Tuesday.
Karrington Hunt was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and scored twice, Carly Cardwell went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and a pair of runs scored, Miley Franzell was 2-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI, and Taylor Smith as 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Lady Bears in the loss. Emmalin Mode added a double and three RBIs, and Callyn Smith and Tinslea Belcher each drove in two runs.
Butler County (4-9, 1-1 District 12) was set to visit district rival Trinity (Whitesville) on Tuesday.
Hart County 18, Warren Central 1
Host Hart County topped Warren Central 18-1 in three innings on Monday.
Parker Hawks notched the lone hit and Addison Walcher scored the only run for the Lady Dragons in the loss.
Warren Central (0-5) hosts District 14 rival Greenwood on Thursday.
