Laramie County Republican Representative Ann Lucas says she is running for another term representing House District 43.
Lucas was elected to the seat in 2024, defeating long-time Rep. Dan Zwonitzer in the GOP primary. She didn’t face a Democratic opponent in the November General Election.
In a news release announcing her run for a second term, Lucas said “I ran for office two years ago to fight for Wyoming families, protect our way of life, and ensure that government works for the people—not the other way around,” said Lucas. “We’ve made real progress, but there’s more work to do.”
Lucas currently serves on the Revenue Committee, Corporations, Elections & Political Subdivisions Committee, and additionally Mental Health & Vulnerable Adult Task Force, and Public Records Working Group.
