This week, District 6 emerged victorious at the Inter-District Primary Schools’ Sports Meet, held at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground (DSCG). The atmosphere on Wednesday was electrifying as athletes showcased their skills and talents, all vying for the coveted title.

At the final tally, the results were as follows:

– District 6: 311 points

– District 8: 270 points

– District 5: 224 points

In the Male Division, District 5 “rose tall and conquered all,” securing the championship with 138 points, followed by District 6 with 131 points and District 8 with 121 points.

In the Female Division, District 6 excelled with 180 points, with District 8 in second place at 149 points, District 2 at 110 points, and District 5 at 86 points.

 

Parliamentary Representative for Micoud South, Jeremiah Joseph, extended his congratulations to the District 5 team and acknowledged the hard work of the teachers, PE teachers, and coaches involved.
