KTVB is proud to be the official station for Athletic Club Boise. More than a dozen home matches will air on channel 7.1 and 7.2 during the squad’s inaugural season.

BOISE, Idaho — KTVB and Athletic Club Boise on Monday announced Idaho’s NewsChannel 7 will air more than a dozen home matches this season as the team’s official broadcast partner. 

The highly anticipated campaign brings 16 contests to KTVB channels 7.1 and 7.2 in the Boise and Twin Falls markets, starting with the squad’s debut under the lights of Athletic Club Boise Stadium. 

AC Boise battles Spokane Velocity FC in its home opener on Saturday, April 4, which will be in front of a sold-out crowd. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Expo Idaho. 

The 2026 schedule features several standouts, including showdowns with Las Vegas Lights (April 25), Monterey Bay FC (May 16), and Sacramento Republic FC (July 11). Athletic Club Boise will also host the New York Cosmos on Sept. 11, welcoming one of American soccer’s most historic brands to Boise for one of the most anticipated home matches of the year.

As the official station for Athletic Club Boise, KTVB plans to provide fans with in-depth coverage and unique weekly content across the team’s first-ever season. Channel 7 joined The River Guard, an independent support group, at Brown Beard Brewing for a watch party during the club’s opener.

“We are pumped – to say pumped is not even enough to say how excited we are,” said Manny Perez, the group’s director of marketing. “We’ve been waiting for this.”

Athletic Club Boise secured a 1-0 victory over Sarasota Paradise on a goal from Denys Kostyshyn on March 7. Now, the Treasure Valley anxiously awaits the team’s return to the former Les Bois Park. 

The City of Trees soccer club has already broken USL records, including amassing over 6,000 season ticket holders in its first season.

AC Boise is one of five new USL League One teams, alongside Corpus Christi FC, Fort Wayne FC, New York Cosmos and Sarasota Paradise.
