Six UJ Nursing Students Inducted Into Honor Society

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Six University of Jamestown nursing students have been inducted into the Xi Kappa at-Large Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, a prestigious organization that recognizes academic excellence, leadership, and dedication to the nursing profession.

The students—Kennedy Fellers from Mount Vernon, Washington; Hannah Hynek from Grand Forks, North Dakota; Brenna Held from Huron, Sough Dakota; Morgan Lee from Casselton, North Dakota; Caici Mitchell from Glasgow, Scotland; and Kylie Vining from Walcott, North Dakota —achieved this honor by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher and ranking in the top third of their class. Their hard work and commitment to nursing exemplify the values of the University of Jamestown’s nursing program, which provides students with diverse learning opportunities, including simulation labs, clinical experiences, and internships. Sigma Theta Tau International is one of the largest and most respected nursing organizations in the world, with a mission to develop nursing leaders and improve global healthcare.

The University of Jamestown’s School of Nursing is known for its rigorous academic standards and commitment to preparing students for impactful careers in healthcare.

With small class sizes, hands-on learning opportunities, and a supportive environment, the program fosters both professional and personal growth. This achievement highlights the dedication of UJ’s nursing students and faculty to excellence in education and service.
