Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Saturday put Donald Trump on notice for escalating the Iran war of his own making, warning that it will spell major trouble for him and his party in this year’s midterms.

The former MAGA congresswoman (now a Trump critic) reshared a clip on X of ex-Fox News host Megyn Kelly remarking on her SiriusXM show that the administration cannot send U.S. troops into Iran and expect Republicans to win an election in the next 10 to 20 years.

“Everything he built, the entire coalition we were all part of, will be ruined,” Kelly said.

Greene chimed in with a nod to the self-proclaimed “peace” president’s vows on the 2024 campaign trail, writing, “Megyn is right. We campaigned and promised no more foreign wars and no more regime change.”

She continued, “Trump and Republicans are going to get slaughtered in the midterms bc of war in Iran and the Epstein files cover up instead of a strong domestic agenda that helped Americans afford life.”

Greene spent the final chapter of her time in Congress attacking Trump over his administration’s handling of files tied to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She resigned from Congress after a public feud with the president.

Greene, in a separate post on Sunday, responded to Ann Coulter likening Fox News telling viewers that Trump is a “total stud” and the Iran war is “going SUPER well” to the network’s false claims surrounding the 2020 election.

“Fox News is now the fake news. Brainwashing boomers to support what we voted against,” wrote the ex-congresswoman.

Her posts arrive just days after she slammed Trump and Republicans for governing “America LAST” as she took on rising prices at the gas pump as a result of the president’s “pointless war.”

A White House spokesperson responded to Greene, telling Fox News, “There is nothing more ‘America Last’ than quitting on your constituents and the MAGA movement in the middle of your term. President Trump is fighting every single day to Make America Great Again — we don’t have time for quitters.”

As Greene continues to criticize Trump over the war, the president is entertaining a military operation to take nearly 1,000 pounds of uranium in Iran, U.S. officials told The Wall Street Journal.

About 59% of Americans say the U.S. has gone too far with the Iran war, per a recent AP-NORC poll.
