The Simbu Rugby Football League (RFL) has taken a significant step towards reviving the Simbu Warriors’ bid to return to the national competition by swearing-in new boards. The official swearing-in ceremony took place on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Provincial Government Assembly Hall and was attended by prominent figures, including the Simbu Governor and other rugby personalities.
A total of nine (9) presidents representing all the districts were sworn-in as well as presidents for both school boys and women’s leagues. These presidents are expected to drive the development of rugby league in the province.
