Rabat – Ramiro Vaca has expressed his happiness since joining Wydad, describing his move as a fresh start after a challenging period in his career.
The Bolivian international, who recently signed for the Moroccan giants, is already settling in quickly both on and off the pitch. After arriving in Mexico to join Bolivia’s national team camp, Vaca spoke openly about his current mindset and renewed motivation.
“I am very happy, I feel free and I enjoy every moment with my new team. The past months were very difficult, but now I am focused on giving my best with Wydad and the national team,” he said.
It’s clear he’s ready for a fresh start after a rough patch last season. Between the suspensions and losing his rhythm, things didn’t go his way but now at Wydad, Vaca looks locked in and ready to make an immediate impact.
In May 2025, CONMEBOL suspended the Bolivian midfielder after he tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine following a Copa Libertadores match against Sporting Cristal.

The midfielder also revealed his professionalism and preparation with the national team, explaining that he has been studying his opponents closely ahead of upcoming matches.
“I watched videos and analysis of the opponent, and I will try to give my best on the pitch,” he added.
Beyond club ambitions, he also spoke about his big ambitions for Bolivia, sharing how much he wants to help the team qualify for major tournaments. He spoke of the exciting feeling of starting a new chapter in his career, stressing his renewed drive to succeed whether he’s wearing the Wydad shirt or representing his home country.
