C. Scott Hyman
C. Scott Hyman passed away unexpectedly June 2.
Born April 28, 1957 in Conway, he was the daughter of Marvadean B. Hyman and the late Ernest B. Hyman. He had many passions in life including biking and canoeing. He also liked music, football, baseball and the University of South Carolina. However, nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his two cherished granddaughters, who were the lights of his life.
A true music lover, Scott turned his passion into a successful sound business that took him around the world. Through his work, he ran events both large and small, proudly contributing to many productions throughout the Grand Strand area. His talent, dedication and easygoing presence left a lasting mark on those he worked with and entertained.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his loving wife of more than 40 years, Cathy C. Hyman; son, Jonathan Hyman; sister, Karen H. Krivohlavek; granddaughters, Lennon and Eliza Hyman; sisters-in-law, Patty Fine and Judy (Buddy) Taylor; nephew, James (Calli and Hudson) Krivohlavek; nephew, Matt Taylor; niece, Jordyn (Josh and Veda) and many other special family and friends.
His presence will be missed, but the music, memories and love he shared will live on in all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
