Starting June 30, just in time for National Pickle Month (yes, that’s a thing), Sonic Drive-In is launching a tangy new masterpiece: the Big Dill Meal. And it’s exactly as weird and delicious as it sounds.
What’s in this fun little creation? Here’s the breakdown:
- Big Dill Double or Triple SONIC Smasher—Juicy Angus patties (your choice of two or three), American cheese, crispy pickle-seasoned cucumbers, a generous heap of Grillo’s Pickle Chips, dill-spiked ranch, lettuce and a soft potato bun.
- Picklerita Slush—That’s right. A pickle juice and lime slush. It’s sweet, tart, and comes with pickle-flavored boba and a bonus Grillo chip on top.
- Pickle-Seasoned Groovy Fries or Tots—Your favorite sides are now upgraded with a sprinkle of zesty Grillo’s seasoning. It’s the snack you didn’t know you needed.
The only thing that could make this deal better is getting something free with it, but Sonic already thought about that.
If you buy the full Big Dill Meal, you’ll score a limited-edition, pickle-scented car air freshener shaped like Sonic’s new mascot: Sam-Sam the Pickle Man. He smells like vinegar and will never judge your drive-thru habits! Each Sonic location will have about 250 of these little guys, so don’t wait too long.
Also beginning on June 30, Sonic fans can head to LiveFreeShopSonic.com to grab a limited batch of themed gear, from T-shirts and hats to nugget ice makers. All merch proceeds go toward supporting public education through the Sonic Foundation.
Pickles are no longer a quirky garnish; they’re a full-on food trend now. And we can’t wait to celebrate them in July!
