Fisherman’s Wharf Enters a New Chapter With New Owners

A longtime dining destination on Lake Hamilton is entering a new era.

After nearly 25 years as a staple in the community, Fisherman’s Wharf Steak & Seafood has announced new ownership. Saddiq and Jeannie Mir will take over the popular restaurant, continuing a legacy that has made the Wharf a favorite gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.

For a long time now, Fisherman’s Wharf has been known as a place where friends and families come together to enjoy steak, seafood and scenic waterfront views. The restaurant shared the news on social media, calling the transition “the next chapter of this special place.”

The Mirs are already well known in the Hot Springs restaurant scene. The couple operates several popular local establishments, including The Ohio Club, Copper Penny Pub and J&S Italian Villa.

The new owners bring years of experience in the hospitality industry and share the same philosophy that has long guided the Wharf: that the people who walk through the doors are what truly make a restaurant special.

Many longtime patrons have expressed a common concern upon hearing the news — “Don’t change anything!” — a sentiment the Mirs say they understand well. Their goal is to preserve the traditions that have made Fisherman’s Wharf a beloved destination while building on that foundation for the future.

The outgoing ownership also expressed gratitude for the community’s support over the past quarter-century, noting that the restaurant has always been more than just a place to eat. With the Mirs now at the helm, they say they are excited to see Fisherman’s Wharf continue to thrive for years to come.

Guests are encouraged to stop by and help welcome the new owners as Fisherman’s Wharf, located at 5101 Central Ave in Hot Springs, begins its next chapter.
