How To Become A Campground Host At Pathfinder Reservoir

There are perfect jobs, and then there are PERFECT jobs, and this job is one of those that you won’t want to miss out on, spending the summer at Pathfinder Reservoir as a campground host.

Pathfinder is 47 miles Southeast of Casper and 10 minutes from Alcova.

Yeah, that’s right, spend the summer in your camper, assisting other campers, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and living life to the fullest. If that sounds like the perfect summer, then you should get your name into the mix and get ready to report for duty from May 15 to September 15.

I know when you see opportunities like this, you wonder what the catch is, right? Well, other than the fish you’ll catch, the job responsibilities are pretty simple.

  • You’ll need to be on site at least Sunday evening – Friday morning
  • Make sure all the facilities are secure and locked
  • walkthrough the grounds to keep an eye on things
  • Help any campers who may need help.
  • Report any maintenance repairs that need attention.
  • Ensure the lighting in the campground is working properly.

Outside of that, your responsibilities will be to be friendly, responsible, enjoy the outdoors and camping, and have good communication skills. What you’ll get in return is a summer of free camping, with water and electricity included, and spectacular views.

If you’re interested, you’ll need to call Vicki Schuler at the Pathfinder Boat & Fishing Club at 307-258-6930. This opportunity will obviously be popular, so waiting too long may lead to you missing out on the summer of 2026 at Pathfinder.
