According to the ministry, 12 evacuation flights operated by both Kazakh and foreign airlines have been carried out since the start of the evacuation operation, returning more than 3,300 Kazakh citizens safely home.

In addition to air evacuations, authorities are also facilitating the return of citizens through land routes. The diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan in Iran plans to assist seven Kazakh citizens, employees of the Zarkuh company, in traveling to the Iran–Armenia border on March 6.

Earlier, Kazakh diplomats in Tehran and Yerevan coordinated the departure of 34 other employees of the same company, who crossed the border from Iran into Armenia by bus. In total, 52 Kazakh citizens have already been evacuated from Iran.

According to the Civil Aviation Committee, regular flights to Dubai, Jeddah, Medina, and Doha will remain suspended through March 10, while ticket sales to these destinations have been halted until March 17.

Kazakhstan’s diplomatic missions across the region continue coordinating evacuation efforts on the ground and remain in constant contact with citizens until the operation is fully completed.
